Eight years ago today, David and I met our Peyton. He was born 12 days before his due date and has kept us on our toes every day since! He is so very smart, and so very funny and seems to excel at everything he sets his mind to. What a wonderful son Peyton David Reed is.
Because there has been so much going on with our extended family the last few weeks, we decided to celebrate the big 8 by taking a trip to Gattitown in Frisco for just the four of us. It seems everyone else in the family has been sick and really needed to rest and recover. Actually Preston isn't 100% but he was quite the trooper, especially when it comes to eating pizza and playing games. We spent about 3 hours there and even ran into my freshman year roommate from Baylor!! Tanya is married with 3 boys of her own. It was great to catch up with a friend from the past.
Of course a trip to Frisco wouldn't be complete without a trip to Stonebriar Mall. I was able to go to Sephora and use my GC that David and the boys gave me for Christmas and we exchanged a couple of other Christmas gifts that weren't the right size, etc.
